Each of the three weeknight sessions featured different lines down Floyd Hill’s trail system, and proved to be a true test of fitness. Back in February a really good friend of mine showed me some jumps near my home. On my first attempt I proceeded to have one of the worst crashes I've had. Ever since then I've avoided these jumps. However, in October, while riding some of the trails in the area, I felt like giving them another try. Sorry for the watermark, but I didn't feel like paying $80 to get rid of it.

MUCH easier to hold a manual on the Scout than Nomad 3, which exhibited significantly delayed response to leg pump to bring the front back up, presmbly due to VPP's wacky instant center migration. Crap boomerang leverage curve prob. didn't help either. While I still believe a good bike can't make up for poo skills, I now also believe a bad bike will hinder your progression. Filmed by Beardo

My brother and i took a four day spring break trip to moab and fruita recently. I sifted through hours of helmet cam videos and came up with this 10 minute edit. I edited and filmed the whole thing, with my brother, kevin, riding in front of me for most of it. A very short first time visit to Ribbesford DH. Thanks to local Nick for showing me some of the trails and for showing how to ride them properly (Watch him leave me for dead when i tried to follow!). Had just a bit more than an hour and a plan to take shots in 7 different angles. It was a huge physical challenge to get so many runs in such a short period of time. Plan was to get all angles shot into one video, but need a bit more skills in editing, so left that video for now and got 7 different videos with 7 different angles. (I have edited version, but not published due to quality loss)
